Sports Premium Funding

The PE and Sport Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help primary schools improve the quality of physical education, physical activity, and sport.

At our school, we use this funding to:

  • Enhance the PE curriculum and offer a wider range of sports

  • Provide training for staff to improve teaching in PE

  • Offer more after-school and lunchtime clubs

  • Purchase new equipment and resources

  • Promote active lifestyles and wellbeing for all pupils

Our aim is to encourage all children to enjoy being active, develop healthy habits, and gain the confidence and skills to take part in physical activity throughout their lives.

We publish an annual report showing how the funding has been spent and the impact it has had on pupils’ participation and progress in sport and physical activity.
