Year 6 Mini Olympics

Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time taking part in Rossendale's Y6 Mini Olympics at Marl Pits Sports Complex.

The day began with a lively opening ceremony, followed by an exciting range of activities, including a football tournament. A special highlight was Amelia Malik reading her winning School Games Pledge, and the event was made even more memorable with a brilliant performance of Good Morning Baltimore by Skyler Kendall. To round things off, four of our pupils wowed the audience with their own dance to The Greatest Showman.

It was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, talent and enthusiasm!

Y2 Animal Olympics

We took a team of 8 children to The Valley Leadership Academy, to represent Thorn in the Y2 Animal Olympics.

As you can see from the photos, we all had an amazing time!
