What is Ofsted?
Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills) is the government body responsible for inspecting and regulating schools in England. Its role is to ensure high standards of education, safeguarding, and overall effectiveness. Ofsted inspections help parents understand the quality of education their child receives and support schools in continuing to improve.

Ofsted Parent View
Ofsted Parent View is an online survey that allows parents and carers to share their views about Thorn Primary at any time of the year. It’s an important way for Ofsted to gather feedback on areas such as teaching quality, behaviour, safety, and leadership.
Your opinions help Ofsted during inspections and also help us as a school to understand what we’re doing well and where we can improve.
