Forest School

Mapping & Survival

Children in Y2 have been developing their 'Mapping' and 'Survival' skills, as part of their learning in the Forest School.

Our photos show them in action, using compass directions to locate clues around the Forest School, and enjoying toasting marshmallows after learning about safety around the campfire.

Art in Nature

Children in Y5 have been creating sculptures inspired by bridges, towers and the work of sculptor Andy Goldsworthy, as part of their Art in Nature learning in the Forest School.

Pupils in Y3 have explored the natural environment to locate spiral and linear patterns. They worked together to create a range of spiral and linear patterns using natural materials.
