Breakfast Club & Busy Bees

We offer wraparound care through our Breakfast Club and Busy Bees provision. Breakfast Club runs before school to give children a positive start to the day, while Busy Bees provides fun and engaging activities after school. Both services are designed to support families with flexible childcare in a safe and welcoming environment.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club runs Monday to Friday from 7.45 am till 8.45am when the children join the rest of the school.

Bookings for Breakfast Club should be made in advance, preferably via the online booking system (School Money).  You will require a password and an email link which will be provided to you when your child starts school.  Bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost.

You can also book and pay in person at the club (situated at the top end of the school, entry via the door on the carpark). Mrs Knights will be available to help with this from 7.45am until 9am each day.  Again, bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost.

Breakfast Club rates are as follows:

Attending from 7.45am - £3.00 per session

Late bookings made on the day - £6.00 per session *

* Please note late bookings made on the day cannot be booked online.

The children will be offered a selection of meals including a choice of cereals, toast, juice, and fresh fruit.  Please inform staff of any allergies or special dietary requirements when booking.

Whilst at the club the children will engage in lots of physical, craft and games activities over the course of the week, working with peers of their own age group thus enabling all to take an active role.

Busy Bees

Busy Bees After School Club runs Monday to Friday until 5pm.

Bookings for Busy Bees should be made in advance, preferably via the online booking system (School Money).  You will require a password and an email link which will be provided to you when your child starts school.  Bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost.

You can also book and pay in person at the club (situated at the top end of the school, entry via the door on the carpark). Staff will be available to help with this from 3.15pm each day.  Again, bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost.

Children MUST be collected by a responsible adult who has been identified to the Club Supervisors (Miss Edwards, Mrs Jones and Miss Harding).

Busy Bees club rates are as follows:

Attending to 4.30pm - £3.50 per session

Attending to 5pm - £4.50 per session

Late bookings made on the day - £6.00 per session *

Please note late bookings made on the day cannot be booked online.

Please note that bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future bookings should your child fail to attend.

Children collected later than 5pm will be charged £10 for the first 15 minutes and an additional £5 per 15 minutes per child thereafter to cover the cost of extra staffing and the Site Supervisor.

If late collection occurs on 3 occasions your child's allocated place will be reviewed.

If you need to contact Busy Bees after school club in an emergency (eg to inform staff you will be late, that your child will not be attending or an alternative person will be picking up etc) please call 07593 507563 (this number is only available during club hours).

Children will be given a snack and a drink during the session, if your child has any allergies or dietary requirements please let the staff know.

During the club time children will engage in lots of activities, we make use of the whole school environment taking in the forest schools area, the gym, the hall, all of the playground areas for physical times, weather and availability taken into consideration.  We also enjoy quiet activities including board games, craft, cookery and group challenges.

Whilst this is a 'fun' club, children will be expected to behave in  an acceptable manner and be respectful to staff members and other children.  Unacceptable behaviour will need to be discussed with parents and staff members to resolve the situation.
